TARA RIVER RAFTING
The cascading waters of the Tara river cut a deep path through the mountains
of Northern Montenegro to a depth of 1300 meters in places and runs over more than fifty rapids along protected wilderness.
Tara Canyon and rafting camp are located 2,5 hours drive from the coastal areas. Adventure Montenegro runs day and multi days trips to the rafting from May until October from Kotor.We can also arrange rafting tour pick ups from other locations.
Departures from Kotor 07.00. Arrival at Scepan polje by 10.00 ,transfer to raft start point. Rafting commences on an 18 km long stretch of the spectacular Tara Canyon , with plenty of photo stops and opportunity to swim in the waterfalls en route. The rafting ends with lunch and then return transfer back to the coast arriving late evening.
Full-Day Tour 7.00 a.m.–8.00 p.m.
Depart: 2 person minimum for tour. Pick-up in Kotor
at 7:00 a.m. for a scenic drive to the Tara River followed by a rafting trip. Return
to Kotor at 8:00pm.
Inclusions: Transportation to and from Kotor, half-day guided
rafting excursion, all equipment, breakfast and lunch. Two meals provided.

What to Bring
Bring a bottle of drinking water , sun protection (sunscreen hat, sunglasses) swimwear , dry clothes. A camera, and money are optional. Your park entrance fee is included in your tour price. All equipment for rafting is provided.
Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent / adult on the raft.

Half and full-day tours cater to vacationers who have already chosen Kotor as their holiday destination and want an active and engaging way to experience the region.
Reservations can be made for all day tours up to one day in advance at Adventure Montenegro“s office in Kotor or at our restaurant Dalmatinska konoba Cesarica , both in the Old Town. Reservations may be made up to seven days in advance online. No deposit is required for reserving a day trip.
